Having a family that works in the veterinary field, I starting working at the age of 15. Of the 8 years I have worked in this area, the last 3 have been at Rancho Village Veterinary Hospital. I am currently in school working towards a practice management degree. My family has several cats, dogs, a parrot, chickens, and roosters.
I was born in Lima, Peru and moved to Lafayette, CA in 1999 where I got my 1st job as a kennel assistant in a small animal single doctor practice. The practice had merged with a bigger clinic where I got trained as a pet care specialist with small mammals, reptiles and birds. In 2002 I moved to Sacramento, Ca area where I worked as a veterinary technician for past 13 years. Over the past 16 I have attended multiple continuing education seminars such as radiology, dentistry, safety (OSHA), animal behavior, etc. and will continue to do so to stay up to date with current veterinary medicine. I have a wonderful family that consists of 3 kids, 2 dogs and cat that I love and love to spend time with. After working with Dr Dawn Boman for a little over 4 years in Sacramento I decided to move to San Diego area in June, 2016 to be a part of the Rancho Village Veterinary family.
I am a die hard Green Bay Packer fan from Wisconsin enjoying the sweet sun of San Diego. I've grown up living with animals and now have a beagle mix of my own to love. I am currently working in the process of becoming a RVT and have been working in the veterinary field since 2012. My experience began in an animal shelter but has now expanded to a clinic environment and has included working with canines, felines, and pocket pets. MY journey at Rancho Village began in May of 2015 and I have since fallen in love with the patients, clients and overall environment here. I appreciate the opportunity you are giving me to work with you and your fur babies!
